You can also go to one of the various Internet Cafes in Dominical. One is located on the second floor above the San Clemente restaurant in Dominical. Cost is usually around $2-$4/hour.

Oh my oh my---we lived on a slab of fresh Mahi Mahi for about 4 days.Find out if Jonny Umana P.'s " Pescaderia Brisas Del Mar" is open during your stay. Call ahead to 8916-1336 if you'd like. He's located close to the Rio Baru as you head back past the restaurant & past the tennis courts. Turn right into a little cluster of houses & go straigt. He's the one with the big deep freezer on his patio.
Taxi service from Dominical?
See if Arturo Sibaja still operates Servicio de Taxi Publico 8313-3932 out of Dominical and Dominicalito. About $8 will get you a ride up to the tent platform from Dominial. He has a 4wd, so should have no trouble.
How about a hardware store where they speak English?
If you need any sort of hardware, you can go south of Uvita to the Hongala, but if you want really good English-speaking help, head up to San Isidro and go to Boston Maderas 2771-7203. If Santiago is still there, he's bilingual and really helpful.
A good surfing shop?
Try out the really talented instructors at the Green Iguana surf shop in Dominical. Last time I checked in with them in 2010, I met Jordan and Jason and Bob - all experienced instructors. Both of my sons took lessons from this bunch and really had a good time, and to mom's relief, were taught a lot of safety. Last time I checked, their phone number was 2787-0157.
